Relations between Afghanistan and neighbouring Pakistan, often fluctuate and tensions between the two countries have existed since 1947. After the 2007, when Afghan officials alleged that Pakistani intelligence agencies were involved in some terrorist attacks their relationship strained even further.Relations between Afghanistan and India also go a long away back. India is often regarded as one of Afghanistan's most influential allies. India is the largest regional donor to Afghanistan and has extensively participated in several Afghan reconstruction efforts, including power, agricultural and educational projects. Since 2002, India has extended more than $1.2 billion in military and other aid to Afghanistan.
